Aspira : Inspiring Solutions
Aspira: Inspiring Solutions has been envisioned to be Prayatna’s flagship competition. Planned to be conducted via a hybrid mode – both offline and online participation, Aspira seeks to invite students across India seeking to be budding innovators and problem-solvers. The problems that Aspira seeks to provide solutions for are connected to the major Sustainable Development Goal-Industry Innovation and Infrastructure (SDGs).
Round 1 : Abstract Submission ( online )
•Teams are required to develop a realistic and tangible product that solves a technological/social need/problem.(Students need not present a prototype although it is welcome) .
•Teams are required to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words describing the problem chosen and the solution to it.
•The selected problem statement should revolve around the SDG of Industry Innovation and Infrastructure.
•The desired output should be a product that can be produced physically rather than something that is only intangible (code or algorithm).
•Innovation, sustainability of the product, gravity of the problem, and impact of the solution - among other things - will be evaluated and the shortlisted teams will be notified by email
Round 2 : Product Pitch Presentation ( offline )
•Teams shortlisted in the first round will be required to make a product presentation to a panel of judges.
•Teams must present their solution for not more than 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A from the panel.
