Dimensional Mastery
It is a team event where each team will comprise of two participants whom they can select between themselves at the time of registration . The event will be conducted as two rounds where teams who perform well will be qualified and will compete in the final (second) round.
ROUNDS
Round 1 :
It will be a quiz of objective type questions which will be based on various machining operations and parameters related to machining like depth of cut,feed rate finish etc., Top 8 teams will be selected for the final round based on their scores.
Round 2 :
Teams will be provided with a raw material and a geometry to be machined on a printed sheet along with its dimensions. The Geometry will require operations such as facing,turningand drilling etc., Teams will be given a specific time duration within which they will have to complete the task . Upon completion the part will assessed by the resource person and marks will be given based upon the accuracy in dimensions,surface finish etc.,
